Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FedAudit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FedAudit is a data aggregation and analysis platform that compiles publicly available federal spending data from government sources including USAspending.gov, the U.S. Census Bureau, SAM.gov, and the Federal Election Commission. FedAudit presents this data in structured reports for informational purposes only.
3. Not Financial, Legal, or Advisory Service
FedAudit is not a financial advisor, legal advisor, auditing firm, or government agency. Nothing on this platform constitutes:
- Financial, investment, or accounting advice
- Legal advice or legal findings
- Official audit findings or government determinations
- Findings of fraud, waste, abuse, or wrongdoing of any kind
Anomaly flags, confidence scores, and all analytical outputs are automated algorithmic indicators based on statistical patterns. They are not conclusions and should not be treated as such.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, and act upon any information obtained through FedAudit. You agree not to:
- Use FedAudit outputs to make defamatory claims against individuals or organizations
- Misrepresent FedAudit outputs as independently verified facts
- Use the Service for harassment, intimidation, or targeted campaigns against any person or entity
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the platform
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your account
5. Subscription and Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Single report purchases are non-refundable once the report has been delivered.
6. Data Accuracy
All data is sourced from third-party government databases. FedAudit makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Government data may contain errors, delays, or omissions entirely outside our control.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FedAudit and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the Service in ways that could harm others.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes by email.
